General Travel SIM Tips

Staying Connected:

Change your voice mail message to include your new local number and destination for people to call your new number

Call forward your phone to the new local number so that you directly receive your calls

For a more convenient temporary call forward service, we recommend the Roamer App

Texting Home:

Use a web based texting app like WhatsApp, Viber or Facebook Messenger

Finding Your new number:

Once the SIM is inserted and activated, your phone number is in the settings section of your phone. This is different in each phone.

Local use:

Depending on the plan purchased, you are free to use your phone as you would locally

* Your Travel SIM is intended only for use in the country of your travel destination. While some SIMs will roam, when roaming excessive charges will occur and deplete your balance.

Expired SIM:

If you do not refill your account prior to your renewal date, you will lose your balance

SIMs expire between 30 and 90 days after the renewal date and expired SIMs cannot be reactivated

When You Return:

Simply replace your travel SIM with your home SIM and re-run the configuration utility if required
